I am Dr. Sreyoshi Bhaduri. I founded ThatStatsGirl to create a community for all of us who like AI, statistics, visualizations, data science, machine learning, and more, while using them in a variety of domains like education, evaluation, marketing, engineering, product development, program management, and the like, but often find ourselves marginalized or left out in conversations on numbers and data.
We are here to build a community with others like us!
Here's to lifelong learning - to discussing how we used certain tools and techniques, and how we can better our analyses. To deep-diving into ethical implications of numbers and deep dialogue on what constitutes "fact".
To learning R and building up on Python. To nights of tireless coding and mornings spent debugging. To telling stories through data, knowing that there is so much more to them than just the number!

So what do I work on?
I solve for challenges of the 21st century workforce - at the intersection of emerging technology, products, and people. I work extensively with predictive analytics, qualitative and mixed methods research, evaluation strategies, and machine learning to understand data on, for, and by people at work. Recognizing the biases that researchers bring into their codes and algorithms, I use my work to emphasize inclusive and ethical mixed-methods research to answer questions and glean actionable insights to drive decision-making. I am here to be part of this community, to share my experiences, and learn from yours!
I am passionate about AI, Engineering Education, Workforce Development, Evaluation, Broadening Participation in STEM, and most importantly - making the world a better place!
